About the holiday home:
The holiday home is located in the hinterland of Málaga city in a small village Lomas de Tienda. The holiday home has a living room with open kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The holiday home is situated around an attractive Spanish patio onto which all areas of the house open. Around the house are several terraces with beautiful views over the hills and valleys of the Andalusian landscape. There is a private swimming pool and a compact enclosed garden with herbs, olive and fruit trees, yuccas and succulents.
In the vicinity of the holiday home:
The nearby white village of Villanueva de la Concepción is about a 5-minute drive from the finca. The village has about 3,000 inhabitants and you will find a supermarket, bakery, butcher, nice restaurants, cozy tapas bars where you can enjoy the local dishes and specialties. The village has a number of amenities such as a 24-hour medical center with an ambulance and a pharmacy.
The finca is a good base to discover Andalusia. Lovers of cultural cities can enjoy beautiful cities in Andalusia. The city of Málaga is approximately 45 km from the finca, where you can enjoy the beach, art, culture, shopping, nightlife and good food. The finca is also centrally located in relation to cities such as Granada, Córdoba, Seville, Ronda, Antequera and are therefore very suitable for day trips. However, don’t forget the many nice little white villages that Andalusia has; these are often wrongly skipped!
Fans of flora and fauna can fully enjoy the many national parks and lakes in the vicinity of the finca. The area is ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, rock climbing, paragliding, fishing, pedal boating, kayaking and canoeing. Just above the village of Villanueva de la Concepción lies the national park El Torcal with its fascinating rock formations and a unique surreal landscape. Or maybe you want to visit the nature reserve Laguna de Fuenta de Piedra. A large salt lake where flamingos and dozens of other migratory and breeding birds spend the winter. Of course, a day of excitement and adventure around the lake area at Ardales and the El Chorro gorge could also be possible. An area where the famous hiking trail called Caminito del Rey is located (don’t forget to reserve maps for this hiking trail in time!).
Another popular outdoor activity is golf. The many beautiful golf courses and the pleasant climate ensure that many golf enthusiasts visit this part of Spain. The golf courses are located both along the coast and inland.
And finally for winter sports enthusiasts, they can ski or snowboard in the Sierra Nevada (3300m) until well into spring. A nice ski resort close to Granada, with a view of the sea.

Garden and terraces:
The patio leads to a shady, covered terrace (platform) at the front of the house with an outdoor kitchen, barbecue, large dining table and lounge sofas. From the landing you come out on the lower terraces with parasols and sunbeds and directly adjacent the swimming pool of 8 x 4 meters. The covered terrace (platform) and the access to the swimming pool can be closed with wooden gates. From the terraces and via fun crawling and sneaking paths you enter the surrounding, enclosed garden with olive and fruit trees, cacti and agave plants. There are also garden terraces at the rear of the house with herbs, fig trees, succulents and yuccas. There is parking space for 2 to 3 cars in the driveway of the finca.

The El Torcal National Park is about a 20-minute drive from the holiday home. You can enjoy walking and have a beautiful view over the Andalusian hills and the sea.
The town of Antequera is about a 25 minute drive away. The town is dominated by the large Moorish fortress on top of a small hill. The city itself consists of a maze of streets with mainly white buildings. It ensures that Antequera has not yet lost its medieval appearance.
The Caminito del Rey hiking trail is approximately 1 hour’s drive from the holiday home. A nice day trip. If you would like to walk this Caminito, you must book tickets in advance on the website of the Caminito del Rey.
The attractive city of Granada is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from the holiday home. If you have time, be sure to visit the beautiful Alhambra. Book your tickets in good time on the website of the Alhambra. The Alhambra is a palace complex consisting of several buildings, gardens, squares, ponds, towers and paths.
The pleasant city of Córdoba is 1 hour and 30 minutes from the holiday home. The Mezquita is by far the number one sight in the center of Spanish Cordoba; the Mezquita is a huge Moorish mosque that was later converted into a cathedral after the reconquest by the Catholic Kings in 1236. The famous and impressive Mezquita mosque-cathedral with its characteristic red and white arches should not be missed.
The city of Ronda is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes drive from the holiday home. Ronda is located in a mountainous area and is at an altitude of 750 meters. The city is split in two by the river Guadalevín, which has left a deep gorge. This deep gorge, the Tajo de Ronda, is also what Ronda has become famous for. Ronda is also home to the Real Maestranza de Caballería, the oldest and most noble order of horsemanship, where horses were trained for the military.
Seville is about a 2-hour drive away. The historic city center of Seville has many Moorish influences. Be sure to visit the Royal Palace Real Alcazar and the large cathedral with the Giralda tower, these are real highlights during your city trip to Seville. But also the famous square Plaza de España, green parks and the delicious tapas make Seville in Andalusia one of the most beautiful cities in Spain.
Spend a day relaxing on Málaga beach or walking and/or cycling through the city, visiting a museum or climbing the Gibralfaro. Málaga is about 45 minutes from the holiday home. Malaga is the largest city in Andalusia after Seville and has something for everyone. Over the years it has emerged as a vibrant city on the Mediterranean Sea. The geniality and friendliness in Málaga is a relief, you can still breathe in the real Spanish atmosphere.

This holiday home can be rented for up to 6 people and 1 baby. The basic price is based on a stay of up to 4 people and the use of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
If you want to book the holiday home for 5-6 people, the price will be adjusted to 5-6 people. The 3rd bedroom with ensuite bathroom will then be prepared in the holiday home.
Minimum stay is 7 nights with flexibility in terms of length of stay and arrival and departure days. Stays for a longer period (e.g. 11 days or 4 to 6 weeks) are possible; conditions and prices on request.

Particularities:
– less suitable for guests with reduced mobility due to the rural character of the holiday home with garden and terraces with stairs

– if you arrive at the property after 21.00 hours, arrangements will be made to gain access to the property. The accommodation manager will not be present but will meet you at the accommodation the next morning.

Deposit:
The deposit is € 100,- and you pay this together with the remaining amount of your booking. If no damage has occurred, you will receive the deposit back within 7 days after departure from the holiday home
Terms of payment:
– a deposit of 25% of the total amount is requested upon booking. The remainder must be paid no later than 6 weeks before the start of your stay
– when booking within the period of 6 weeks before the start of your stay, the total amount must be paid immediately
Cancellation conditions:
– Up to 6 weeks before the arrival date, the cancellation costs are 25% of the total amount
– from 6 to 4 weeks before the arrival date, the cancellation costs are 50% of the total amount
– from 4 weeks to the arrival date, the cancellation costs are 100% of the total amount
